About Presidency

The Minister of the Presidency carries out the tasks delegated by the Prime Minister in terms of preparing, calling for and coordinating the Council of Ministers and the Secretaries of State meeting, inter-ministerial coordination, and promoting and coordinating transformation processes in the organisation of public services that use synergies and reinforce the technical capabilities in supporting governance and public policy decision-making.

The Minister of the Presidency conducts, enforces and assesses Public Administration policies, namely the organisation of public services, the change in administrative processes and procedures, and qualifying civil service.

The Minister of the Presidency formulates, conducts and assesses the economic and social development strategies, taking into account the goals of convergence and cohesion, defines and enforces the strategy, the priorities, the monitoring, assessment and global management of the programmes funded by European funds, namely under the European Union’s cohesion policy.
