«According to the position that I currently have, I’m used to participate in ceremonies and events with different origins, causes or motives. I always do it with great pleasure. But there are events, like this one, where the usual pleasure is even bigger, because I’ve the opportunity to address to all of you a few words, in this house, where I learned so much and that contributed a lot to the one I am today.

This house that gave me scientific knowledge, that qualified me for a job and a career, that made me grow as a man and as a citizen.

 

Yes. I am a Civil Engineer and I did also my master and my PhD here.»
