«As we all know only too well, we deal with cyber threats and attacks on a day-to-day basis. And these threats and attacks are more and more sophisticated and potentially damaging, weaving a complex threat environment that finds in hybrid warfare its most spectacular dimension.
For this reason, NATO and its Allies must rely on strong and resilient cyber defences to fulfil the Alliance’s core tasks of collective defence, crisis management and cooperative security, on one hand, and must therefore be able to feed avant-garde and innovative approaches to this new kind of set, on the other.»
