About Environment and Climate Action

The Minister of Environment and Climate Action formulates, conducts, enforces and assesses policy on the environment, urban, suburban and road passenger transportation, mobility, climate, forestry, nature conservation, pets’ welfare, energy, geology and forests, from a perspective of sustainable development and social and territorial cohesion, as well as a land planning in fields that fall under the minister’s power, including the coast and rural environment.
