Speech by the Secretary of State for Integration and Migration at the 14th European Platform for Roma Inclusion

"Good morning! I would like to greet the Commissioner for Equality, Helena DALLI, whom I thank for the invitation as well as the opportunity of this event.

I would also like to greet 

- Vera Jourová, Vice-President of the European Commission

- And my panel colleagues: Katarína Mathernová, our Moderator, Peter Pollák, and Katarina Ivankovic Kneževic 

Let me also extend a special greeting to all speakers and participants.

Ladies and gentlemen, I will present 5 points.

1. As we all know, the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union (held last semester), has been committed since the very beginning to strengthening Europe's resilience and citizens' confidence in the European social model."
