Skills Centre for Foreign Policy Support

The first placement's offer to candidates from the graduate staff’s pool, selected within the framework of the centralised recruitment procedure, was launched today. The first 60 vacancies, available at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' General Secretariat, will serve the future Skills Centre for Foreign Policy Support, which will play a particularly relevant role within the scope of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.

According to the jobs` defined degrees, eligible candidates for this offer will be notified to express their preferences, through the Centralised Recruitment's subsite of the Public Employment Pool (BEP).

Following approval at the interview stage, candidates' placement will then be automatically carried out by the Centralised Recruitment Entity (ECR), considering the expressed preferences and the respective positions in the final ranking list, in accordance with the Decree Law No. 12-A/2021 of the 11th of January.

After the placement list's approval, candidates will sign an employment contract in public functions for an indefinite period. The forthcoming placement offers are announced as soon as they become available for the candidates’ expression of preferences.

The information regarding the characterisation of the jobs, which is part of the placement offer, can be consulted in the candidate's personal area, at the Documents of the Centralised Recruitment Entity (ECR) section. The Candidate Guide, which aims to support candidates throughout the procedures of the Centralised Recruitment's subsite, is also available.

It is foreseen that the employed candidates occupy their work posts until the end of February.
