Statement by the Office of the Prime Minister

The Government decreed a day of national mourning due to the tragedy on Glória Funicular in Lisbon. The national mourning day is 4 September 2025.

The Prime Minister called off his appointments for tomorrow, except for a videoconference call with the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing on Ukraine, and the Council of Ministers.
