PTRR will be executed without compromising public account equilibrium

The Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro guaranteed that the Portugal Transformation, Recovery and Resilience Programme (PTRR) will not jeopardise the trajectory of balancing public accounts, at the end of the meetings with all the parties with a seat in Parliament at the Official Residence in São Bento, Lisbon.

The aim of the meetings was to present and discuss the programme’s main lines, which was set up to assist with the country’s recovery after the recent storms.

Luís Montenegro explained that the PTRR will have national funding assured through the State Budget and may include contracting public debt.
