«In Portugal, there are already several examples of how technologies can support and assist the transformation of Justice in its different fields: from courts to registry services, industrial property, or criminal investigation.
Justice has been one of the areas that most invested in the digital transition since the beginning of this century.
Portugal was one of the first countries to implement electronic case management systems in courts, as well as to provide physical or virtual one-stop shops, such as the "On the Spot firm" or the "Online Firm", that made the process of setting up a company faster, paperless, and much more convenient.»
