Prime Minister travelling to Berlin

Prime Minister António Costa will be travelling to Germany this week to attend a working meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Spanish prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The triparty meeting will be held in the Federal Chancellery in Berlin on Friday 14 October at 6:30 pm (local time). 

European and international political affairs will be discussed in this meeting, namely to prepare the upcoming European Council on 20 and 21 October. An analysis of the situation in Ukraine will be conducted and the matter of energy interconnections will also be addressed.

There will be no press conference at the end of the meeting. A joint press statement will be issued on the meeting.
